Home Theater Systems - How to Use it

The 7.1 version of  home theater system consists of seven speakers and a woofer. These speakers and subwoofers are connected to the A/V receiver with a wire. The placement of the speaker mainly depends on the size of room.  The benefit of using 7.1 home theater systems is that one can easily relax and sit in a sofa or bed and get the pleasure of watching most ideal home theater entertainment at distance of 7 to 10 feet. The speaker is located at the center of home theater system, under your television.  At the either side of entertainment center, two speakers, one at the right and other at left of the room give you best sound effect experience. The last but not the least component is subwoofer which is placed in the front. The subwoofer emits vibration of low frequency bass and does not require any prominent place in the setup.

The various multichannel audio techniques reproduce the music, speech sound for cinema, TV and broadcasting channels.

At the center of home theater entertainment system,Center speaker and amplifiers are positioned. The other 6 speakers are mounted to the room walls. It depends very much on the manufacturer’s setup. Sometimes speakers are mountable, but some may be on stands. With 1 LFE subwoofer one can enjoy a very realistic sound experience. In the end we conclude that 7.1 home theater system gives a theater quality sound which provides the most excellent audio experience. The experience of watching movies at home will never be the same again.
